Ron Paul

Ron is the man who is rightfully the president of america his outstanding life is a great insperation to enyone who wants to change the system ,the only politition who gave straight answers and was ignored by the media countless times during his campaign for presidency.(was quiet funny to see how a honest man in politics gets treated)He was author of countless books on education like home schooling. And also faught in vietnam but was a brilliant campaigner for peace.after the war he went through medical school and after working hours would tend to chatholic medical places to help ones who couldent go to normal hospitals all this while having 15 kids of his own proving you can handle what ever life throws at you.

Bruce Lee

Bruce has earned his position of the greatest martial artist ever. He came back from a broken back to introduce his style Jeet Kune Do.A truly great man who was always for helping those in need, his philosophies were truly inspiring. A great way to get into how he saw things is as simple as watching him and listening to his interviews. I would urge anyone who wanted to take up martial arts to have a look at his teachings

Tupac shakur

Tupac was from a line of revolutionarys," the black panthers". His songs were always from the heart that's how I believe so many loved him so much because he always said what he wanted to who he wanted and if anyone told him otherwise he would leave the record company and start over. His input to his community by bringing people through and giving them the power to provide for themselves was another reason so many can't forget him. If he could have been around for 5 more years I think he would have been killed trying to change the system of oppression which thrives now. He did say that he was going to make a political party for blacks and Mexicans , and after time he would have noticed that everyone was in the same position as them and the Mexicans which would have made him political gold in the sense with his connection to the average person who knows politics isn't in their best interest and would normally not vote at all. With his position being able to talk to so many he was as dangerous as Bob Marley another great hero of mine. The hardships he faced and how he tackled all the all the fake charges put up against him to destroy his image all failed but the court wasn't going to stop with him. I wish he had left, but you know he didn't he just wanted his music to stand the test of time and the idea of him being alive kept it going.

Aaron Hillel Swartz (November 8, 1986 – January 11, 2013) was an American computer programmer, writer, political organizer and Internet activist. Swartz was involved in the development of the web feed format RSS,[5] the organization Creative Commons,[6] the website framework web.py[7] and the social news site Reddit.

Swartz became an equal partner in Reddit after its merger with his company, Infogami.[i] His later work focused on sociology, civic awareness and activis. In 2009, wanting to learn about effective activism, he helped launch the Progressive Change Campaign Committee. In 2010, he became a research fellow at Harvard University's Safra Research Lab on Institutional Corruption, directed by Lawrence Lessig. He founded the online group Demand Progress, known for its campaign against the Stop Online Piracy Act.

On January 6, 2011, Swartz was arrested by MIT police on state breaking-and-entering charges, after systematically downloading academic journal articles from JSTOR. Federal prosecutors later charged him with two counts of wire fraud and 11 violations of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, carrying a cumulative maximum penalty of $1 million in fines, 35 years in prison, asset forfeiture, restitution and supervised release.

Two years later, two days after the prosecution denied his lawyer's second offer of a plea bargain, Swartz was found dead in his Brooklyn, New York apartment, where he had hanged himself.

I took this from wikipedia because i dont think he would have killed himself he had everything to live for,he was a fighter in his own way and i think he was getting things done and people didnt like were it was going. He was one of the founders of anonymous and money wasnt a problem,so that only leaves the ridiculouss charges of him downloding documents that were aloud in the public, just not for him cause he wanted to do good and they dont work in goodness.I only hope wee all finish saying whats bothering us and not holding it in,who maters what.

In June 2013, Swartz was posthumously inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame.

Emmeline Pankhurst

In 1889 Emmeline Pankhurst founded the Women’s Franchise League, followed by the Women’s Social and Political Union in 1905. She was joined by her daughters Christabel and Sylvia among others in the fight for Women’s Suffrage. Pankhurst’s tactics for drawing attention to the movement led to her being imprisoned several times, and even experienced force-feeding after going on hunger strike several times. She was also instrumental in placing women in men’s jobs during World War 1. She received funding of several thousand pounds from the government to aid her in encouraging employers that women were in fact fit to undertake these jobs. Her efforts finally came to fruition in March 1918, when women over the age of 30 were given the right to vote. Later that same year, women over the age of 21 were given the right to become Members of Parliament, despite the fact they were still unable to vote. It wasn’t until 1928 that women were finally given the same voting rights as men in the United Kingdom.

Boudica d. AD 60 or 61 Wikipedia

Boudica d

Boudica was a queen of the Iceni people of Norfolk who lead an uprising of the tribes against the occupying forces of the Roman Empire. Her husband, Prasutagus had left his Kingdom jointly to his daughters and the Roman Emperor when he died. The Roman Empire allowed allied independence only for the lifetime of the current king, and inheritance though the male line only was permitted. As he had left his kingdom to his daughters, his will was ignored and his kingdom annexed as if it had been conquered. It is reported that Boudica was flogged and her daughters raped. She was later chosen as the leader of her people and their neighbors in an uprising against the Romans. Her army fell on the poorly defended city of Camulodunum (Colchester), and destroyed it, besieging the last defenders in the temple for two days before it fell. Archaeology shows the city was methodically demolished. Quintus Petillius Cerialis attempted to relieve the city, but his forces were routed. His infantry was wiped out: only the commander and some of his cavalry escaped. Tacitus says the Britons had no interest in taking or selling prisoners, only in slaughter by gibbet, fire, or cross. Dio’s account gives more prurient detail: that the noblest women were impaled on spikes and had their breasts cut off and sewn to their mouths, “to the accompaniment of sacrifices, banquets, and wanton behaviour” in sacred places, particularly the groves of Andraste. Ironically, the great anti-imperialist rebel is now identified with the head of the British Empire, and her statue stands guard over the city she razed to the ground.

Rosa Parks

Rosa Parks was an African American civil rights activist whom the U.S. Congress later called “Mother of the Modern-Day Civil Rights Movement”. On December 1, 1955, Parks became famous for refusing to obey bus driver James Blake’s order that she give up her seat to make room for a white passenger. This action of civil disobedience started the Montgomery Bus Boycott, which is one of the largest movements against racial segregation. In addition, this launched Martin Luther King, Jr., who was involved with the boycott, to prominence in the civil rights movement. She has had a lasting legacy worldwide. Rosa Parks resided in Detroit until she died at the age of ninety-two on October 24, 2005. City officials in Montgomery and Detroit announced on October 27, 2005 that the front seats of their city buses would be reserved with black ribbons in honor of Parks until her funeral. Her casket was transported to Washington, DC, and taken, aboard a bus similar to the one in which she made her protest, to lie in honor in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda (making her the first woman and second African American ever to receive this honor).

Tomyris (reigned c. 530 BC) was a queen of the Massagetae, an Iranian people of Central Asia east of the Caspian Sea. She was famous for defeating and killing the Persian emperor Cyrus the Great during his invasion and attempted conquest of her country. When Cyrus captured Tomyris’ son, she sent a letter to him denouncing his treachery and challenging him to honorable battle. In the fight that ensued, the Persians were defeated with high casualties, Cyrus himself was killed, and Tomyris had his corpse beheaded. She allegedly kept his head with her at all times and drank wine from it until her death. Persian and Central Asian folklore maintain a rich store of other tales about Tomyris. It is believed that the word Tomis present day Constanta comes from Tomyris.

Florence Nightingale who came to be known as “The Lady with the Lamp”, was a pioneer of modern nursing, a writer and a noted statistician. Her lasting contribution has been her role in founding the modern nursing profession. She set a shining example for nurses everywhere of compassion, commitment to patient care, and diligent and thoughtful hospital administration. The work of the Nightingale School of Nursing continues today. The Nightingale building in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Southampton is named after her. International Nurses Day is celebrated on her birthday each year. Florence Nightingale’s most famous contribution came during the Crimean War, which became her central focus when reports began to filter back to Britain about the horrific conditions for the wounded. Florence and her compatriots began by thoroughly cleaning the hospital and equipment and reorganizing patient care. Nightingale believed the high death rates in the hospitals were due to poor nutrition and supplies and overworking of the soldiers. Consequently, she reduced deaths in the Army during peacetime and turned attention to the sanitary design of hospitals.

From what i know about her she tried so much and when it came to light that more people died because of being round other sick people she was blamed by many and from about 60 -75 she lay in bed fealing sorry for herself. She should have tried looking after the patients in single file or something not give up and take to bed and have all her hard efforts wasted.i do believe she was just in the bigest mood ever due to fealing like the problem rather than what she wanted,to be a great role modle in history.

Edward Snowden

No one in modern history single-handedly altered the geo-political landscape of the world so radically and quickly as did Edward Snowden. In short, the man is a GIANT. He is also a giant killer in the same exalted category as “David felling Goliath”, only Edward is MUCH bigger!

Edward-Snowden-008

Quite expectedly, the mainstream media (MSM) has ignored many of the most profound and fundamental changes that Snowden’s revelations have wrought in virtually every sphere of life around the globe. In truth the Snowden Revelations have forever changed the way the world operates. Everything from international diplomacy to global commerce, from national sovereignty protection to national internet management, from intergovernmental communication to United Nations protocols have been deeply affected for the better. Of course, international relations have never been worse this millennium, but that’s part of the process.

Because of Edward’s extraordinarily courageous and self-sacrificing initiative to expose the NSA PRISM surveillance program, the world is now a much better place. His unusually brave actions were carried out at an age (in his late 20s) when most of his peers are much busier looking out for themselves than others, which make his sacrifice all the more exceptional.

How else can we say this: E D W A R D J. S N O W D E N is perhaps the greatest hero the planet has known throughout this New Millennium! There, we said it. Something that will never appear in or uttered by the MSM.

What Edward Snowden truly accomplished for the liberation of the human race will not be fully understood for years to come.

That’s because the numerous governments involved, their corporate collaborators and the mainstream media will make sure that the most consequential truths are never revealed. They have already been working overtime to squeeze off the pipeline of Snowden Revelations coming from the MSM outlets such as The Guardian.

What we have seen in the MSM are various statements issued by Presidents and Prime Ministers, Corporate CEOs and Foundation Chairs. The vast majority of these pronouncements repeat the same sentiment: NSA spying on the masses must be stopped; their routine and criminal invasion of privacy must cease post haste.

The other point of general agreement is that the state (aka the US Federal Government) has unlawfully arrogated power unto itself to illegally spy on the entire world. This is the awesome legacy of the Snowden Revelations. Yes, everyone to some degree has known that government snooping has been way out of control. However, no one really knew the situation was so over the top … until Edward pushed the upload button.

Because of the global connectivity of the internet, entities like the NSA, CIA, DIA, FBI, DEA, etc. can acquire a warrant to tap internet, telephonic and other electronic communications in a heartbeat. The courts that oversee this process are nothing but a rubber stamp on’law enforcement’ requests for clandestine surveillance that are oftentimes unjustifiably submitted. The Snowden Revelations exposed this whole surreptitious process and procedure for its admitted lack of integrity.

Muammar Gaddafi

1942 – 20 October 2011), commonly known as Colonel Gaddafi,[nb 2] was a Libyan revolutionary and politician, and the de facto ruler of Libya for 42 years. Taking power in a 1969 coup d'etat, he ruled as Revolutionary Chairman of the Libyan Arab Republic from 1969 to 1977 and then as the "Brother Leader" of the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya from 1977 to 2011, when he was ousted in the Libyan civil war. After beginning as an Arab nationalist and Arab socialist, he later governed the country according to his own ideology, the Third International Theory. He eventually embraced Pan-Africanism, and served as Chairperson of the African Union from 2009 to 2010.

The son of an impoverished Bedouin goatherder, Gaddafi became involved in politics while at school in Sabha, subsequently enrolling in the Royal Military Academy, Benghazi. Founding a revolutionary cell within the military, in 1969 they seized power from King Idris in a bloodless coup. Becoming Chairman of the governing Revolutionary Command Council (RCC), he dissolved the monarchy and proclaimed the Republic. Ruling by decree, he implemented measures to remove what he viewed as foreign imperialist influence from Libya, and strengthened ties to Arab nationalist governments. Intent on pushing Libya toward "Islamic socialism", he introduced sharia as the basis for the legal system and nationalized the oil industry, using the increased revenues to bolster the military, implement social programs and fund revolutionary militants across the world. In 1973 he initiated a "Popular Revolution" with the formation of General People's Committees (GPCs), a system of direct democracy, but retained personal control over major decisions. He outlined his Third International Theory that year, publishing these ideas in The Green Book.

In 1977, he dissolved the Republic and created the Jamahiriya, a "state of the masses" part-governed by GPCs. Officially adopting a symbolic role in governance, he retained power as military commander-in-chief and head of the Revolutionary Committees responsible for policing and suppressing opponents. Overseeing unsuccessful border conflicts with Egypt and Chad, Gaddafi's support for foreign militants and alleged responsibility for the Lockerbie bombing led to Libya's label of "international pariah". A particularly hostile relationship developed with the United States and United Kingdom, resulting in the 1986 U.S. bombing of Libya and United Nations-imposed economic sanctions. From 1999, Gaddafi encouraged economic privatization, pan-African integration, and sought better relations with the West. In 2011, an anti-Gaddafist uprising led by the National Transitional Council (NTC) broke out, resulting in civil war. NATO intervened militarily on the side of the NTC, resulting in the government's downfall. Retreating to Sirte, Gaddafi was captured and killed in the street by NTC militants, who broadcast Gaddafi's death.

The only thing he done wrong was try to make an african backed gold currency which would have knocked the doller from the world currency. He had the most prospurous people in the whole region, the hiest litericy rate he also gave everyone half of there first purchace on a car and paid for there education as a rite not a gift.He done so much more than enyone else had in that region so good that he had to be taking out.No dought he done some bad things but who could be an angle when your country is being destroyed by royals who take what they want when they want and dont do enything for there people.

Bill Maloney

Bill takes on child pedophile rings worldwide, pie and mash films. He tries endlessly to show how the world what's really going on in institutional abuse rings. I only hope that all the people who come forward to him actually get justice, not just a small sentence but public awareness of them would do more damage to their systems of abuse. I wish we all could be a little like him in standing up for those in most need.
